Već dugo vremena nameravam da napišem nešto na temu: zašto koristim Linux. Ne bih hteo da se ponavljam i da napominjem da je Linux brži, stabilniji, sigurniji… Jednostavno, svako bira (između ostalog i) OS koji mu najviše odgovara. U mom slučaju, to je Linux. Da se cela priča ne bi završila u stilu: ‘da, lako je tebi… ti koristiš kompjuter godinama, održavaš sisteme i ne igraš se…’ zamolio bih vas da pročitate komentar ‘običnog’ korisnika, profesionalnog fotografa.

Changing operating systems is not a task to be taken lightly. I generally follow the philosophy “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” A year ago, however, the family notebook was broken, hopelessly crippled by a nasty virus or worm. I’d been regularly updating the virus software and running complete checks, but some users were less careful than others.
